On 10 December 2025, in Skopje, the 6th meeting of Monitoring Committee (MC) of the IPARD Programme 2021-2027 was held.
In addition to the regular representatives (members or their deputies), representatives of: the European Commission (DG AGRI), the Managing Structure, the Paying Agency, the Audit Authority and the IPARD Managing Authority also participated in the Committee meeting as observers.
In accordance with the Committee’s Rules of Procedure, the Chairman of the 6th meeting of the MC was the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Borche Serafimovski.
In accordance with the agenda items for the sixth meeting, the representatives of DG AGRI informed the attendees about the state of implementation of IPARD in the other countries, noting that the implementation of the IPARD programme in Macedonia is at a high level. The European Delegation expressed confidence in the institutions to quickly and fairly overcome the situation that arose due to the potential corruption scandal for the IPARD Programme in Macedonia.
The representatives of the IPARD Managing Authority and the Paying Agency presented detailed information on:
- Status of implementation of the IPARD Program 2021-2027;
- Information about the functioning of the management and control system and financial implementation of IPARD 2021-2027;
- Information about the results of the public calls 01/2023, 01/2024, 02/2024 and 01/2025 of the IPARD Program 2021-2027;
- Information about the Plan of Activities and Calls in 2026 (including an action plan to improve utilization);
- The status of accreditation of measures from the IPARD Program 2021-2027;
- Information about controls (audits performed, monitoring of activities undertaken and annual audit report;
- Visibility and Communication Plan (Overview of activities from the annual communication and publicity action plan for 2025);
- Review of the implementation of the Evaluation Plan of the IPARD Programme 2021-2027;
- Presentation of the final report of the Ex-post evaluation of the IPARD Programme 2014-2020;
- Technical assistance activities (Review of the implementation of activities under APTA 2025)
